Doch begreifbare Materie ist längst komplexer geworden und hat sich neuen Definitionen unterzogen. Schriftzeichen, Fotografien, Musik, Erinnerungstrigger, alles wird in Bits und Bytes transformiert: DATA. Doch welche Daten liegen Dir am Herzen?
Das DATA GEM LABOR ist zugleich Edelsteinmine. Es erforscht und gräbt nach virtuellen Juwelen (engl. Gemstones). Kriterien wie der Grad des persönlichen Glitzern und Funkeln des Juwels sind entscheidend für die individuelle Qualität und Wertigkeit.
Während der Berlin Fashion Week, am 7. und 8. Juli ist das Labor der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.

How does worthiness emerge? Whether rare crown jewels, the curl of ones beloved, a guardian angel sculpture or a holy writing, we love to load things with meaning. But graspable matter has undergone new definitions and become more complex. Characters, photographs, music, memory trigger, everything is transformed into bits and bytes: DATA. But what kind of data are you devoted to?
The DATA GEM LABORATORY simultaneously is a gemstone mine, exploring and digging for virtual jewels. Criteria such as the degree of personal glitter and sparkle on the jewel are crucial for the individual quality and value.
During Berlin Fashion Week, on July 7th and 8th, the laboratory is open to the public.

»The Idling Gallery« ist ein solidarisches
Ausstellungsprojekt, welches sich der Produktivität von Kollektiven zuwendet.
Ausgangspunkt ist die Auseinandersetzung mit Ranking Systemen, die unter
anderem aus der Häufigkeit sowie den Künstlerlisten von Gruppenausstellungen das
Gewicht einer künstlerischen Position bemisst. Dieses Bewertungssystem hat
deutliche Effekte auf die Politik gegenwärtiger Ausstellungseinladungen und
Künstlernetzwerke. Dem »Idling Mobile« folgte so das Projekt »Idling Gallery«,
welches 2014 bereits in einem ersten Testlauf 150 Künstlerinnen und Künstler
aus Berlin und Deutschland miteinander bekannt machte. Ziel des fortwährenden
Projektes in die Einladung möglichst vieler Gruppenausstellungen im
Arbeitsatelier der Künstlerin. Gegenstand der nicht ausschließlich auf ein
Thema ausgerichteten Ausstellungen ist dabei die Kollage ungewöhnlich vieler
künstlerischer Positionen. »The Idling Gallery« stellt die zusammengetragenen
Werke als Gesamtkomposition aus, welche die einzelnen Werke inhaltlich neu sortiert.
"The Idling Gallery" is an a
solidary exhibition project in solidarity, which focuses focusing on the
productivity of collectives. The starting point is the examination ofIt is
rooted in the examination of ranking systems, which measure an artist’s value by
the frequency and the artist lists of their group exhibitions, among other
things, measure the weight of an artistic position from the frequency and

the politics of current exhibition invitations and artist networks.
